Privacy Policy
Last updated 30 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Breakfast for Dinner ("we", "us" or "our") collects, why, and how we look after it. It covers our website, breakfastfordinner.com.au, our email newsletter, and the digital products we sell.
Breakfast for Dinner is run by Kara Torre, ABN 84 754 762 166, based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. If you have any questions, email hello@breakfastfordinner.com.au.
What we collect
Your name and email address, when you sign up for our newsletter or free resources, or buy a product.
Purchase details, such as what you bought and when. Payments are processed by our checkout provider's payment processor, so we never see or store your full card details.
Anything you send us, such as an email or a message through our website.
Website usage information, such as the pages you visit, your browser and device type, and roughly where you are. Our website platform collects this using cookies, and we only see it as totals, not about you personally.
We don't ask for health information. Anything you write in our planners or trackers stays with you.
Why we collect it
to deliver what you've signed up for or bought, including download links
to send our newsletter, if you've opted in
to answer your questions and sort out any problems
to understand how our website is used, so we can improve it
to meet our legal obligations, such as keeping sales records
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted services to run Breakfast for Dinner. They only use your information to provide their service to us:
Squarespace - hosts our website
Flodesk - sends our emails and runs our checkout
Stripe - processes card payments through our checkout
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Our books are sold through Amazon. If you buy from Amazon, your purchase is covered by Amazon's own privacy policy, and we don't receive your personal details.
Storage outside Australia
Some of the services we use store information overseas, mainly in the United States. We choose established providers that take security seriously, but by using our website, newsletter or products, you understand your information may be held outside Australia.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to work properly and to measure how it's used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well. We don't currently use cookies for advertising. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.
Our email newsletter
We'll only send you our newsletter if you've opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can use it at any time. If you've bought a product, we'll still send emails about that purchase, such as your download link.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including using secure, reputable platforms. No system is completely secure, but if something goes wrong, we'll let you know as the law requires.
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, or as long as the law requires, and then delete it.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email hello@breakfastfordinner.com.au and we'll respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you're worried about how we've handled your information, please email us first and we'll do our best to fix it. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
